PlayStation Plus Games
This month’s PlayStation Plus lineup sees Nioh and Outlast 2 take the stage as this month’s games for PlayStation Plus members.
As always, let’s take a look at this month’s games to see how they stack up against previous months of PlayStation Plus.
November’s PlayStation Plus Games
The two games offered this month are:
- Outlast 2
These 2 games are valued at €49.98 (which is a decrease in value from last month), but are free for you PlayStation Plus subscribers this month.
PS Plus Infographic for November
Take a look at the nifty infographic below I created to give you a quick overview of this month’s games on PS Plus. Feel free to share this on social media if you feel so inclined.
Nioh is an action role playing game set against the backdrop of a fictional Japan during the 1600s also known as the Shengoku period.
You play as William, an Irish sailor (bonus points already) as you battle and navigate your way through each stunning backdrop.
There is a lot to offer in this game in terms of back story, characters, game mechanics and more so this game will keep you engaged and entertained for a long time.

It seems like great timing for this game for PS Plus given that it’s sequel is to be released pretty soon.
This will give fans a chance to replay the original game.
Additionally it will give newcomers an incentive to get involved in this series.
This definitely seems to be a trend with the choice of PS Plus games.
For me personally the concept of this game does intrigue me as someone who’s never played a “Soulsborne” type game, properly anyway.
With that in mind I’ll be giving this game a try seeing as it’s free.
Outlast 2 is a sequel to the 2013 game Outlast. This is a first person survival horror game.
You play as a journalist named Blake Langermann who is trying to find and rescue his wife Lynn who has been captured by a violent cult.
The game sees you try to survive various encounters with the members of the cult as things become progressively more dangerous and disturbing.

I will admit right off the bat that I am not a horror gamer. I don’t enjoy anything horror related.
With that said, I probably won’t be trying this game out for myself.
That’s just my opinion though, I’m sure there are plenty of gamers out there who enjoy this genre to no end.
I’m sure they’ll have a blast with this game. It’s just not my cup of tea.
Conclusions and Observations
So that’s it for another month of PS Plus games.
This month’s games offer something for the more hardcore gamers as well as horror enthusiasts.
Not an amazing month for me personally with these games however I can appreciate the choice of games.
The average Metacritic rating of these games is slightly lower than last month’s at 83.
With that said though, it’s tough to top an average rating of 90.5 which is the highest average rating this year so far.
As always I will try at least one of these games out and I look forward to seeing what the final month of the year will hold for PS Plus games.
