Attention all Monster Hunter fans! Games developer Capcom has announced that the upcoming Monster Hunter iteration for the Switch will have a demo available from the 16th August.
The demo will be available to download from the e-store.
This is good news for those of us who are not sure what Monster Hunter will look like on the Switch.
You will have a chance to try the game out before you purchase it to see if it’s for you.
This game will essentially be a port of the Nintendo 3DS version of the game.
Something that has been a theme with a lot of games in recent months. There have already been a number of games ported from the Wii U to the Switch so this is nothing new.
As a result, hardcore fans may find it hard to justify buying this Switch port.
With that said, newcomers to Monster Hunter should have a great time getting immersed in the game play.
I am personally a big fan of this franchise of games. I have played it on the Wii, PS2 and most recently the PS4.
It is safe to say that I have sunk a large portion of time into these games over the years.
With that said, it will be interesting to see what the game controls will be like on the Switch.
I’m sure many gamers will be more used to the PS4 or Xbox controls so this might require an adjustment.
The full version of Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate will be available to purchase from August 28th in Europe and North America.
